This documentary looks back at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and their lasting legacy on the neighboring city of Athens. The Olympics had a wonderful impact on Athens as both city and university came together to put their best foot forward in a place with the namesake of the original Olympics.

UGA royalty Vince Dooley, former Athens mayor Gwen O’Looney, and Athens renaissance man Dr. Dick Hudson reminisce about their Olympic experiences and break down their involvement in this homage to Georgia’s classic city where gold was won, relationships were molded, and traditions were broken and created.
